Swinburn Elementary Recognized Print

Principal Scott Burrow

Swinburn Elementary was recently recognized by the National Center for Educational Achievement as a Higher Performing School.  Using the Center’s methodology, Swinburn was found to be in the top 10% of schools in its low-income group in regard to student performance on state assessments, and the school had better-than-predicted performance.  Higher Performing schools grow their students’ academic performance more than the performance of students in demographically similar schools.  Pictured is Swinburn Principal Scott Burrow with a certificate of recognition received on behalf of the staff members of Swinburn Elementary from the National Center for Educational Achievement.
